I'm currently sat at NOMADS Hostel in Noosa, along the East Coast. I'm surrounded by trees and wild birds keep walking under the table where i'm sat. Music is on in the background and i'm waiting for my washing to finish so i can go exploring. Oh the life of a backpacker.
After Melbourne i went back to Sydney for a couple of days before heading on to Brisbane. Which might i add, is beautiful. It reminds me of a nicer London and is way less busy then Sydney and Melbourne. Once their i met up with friends that i had made in Sydney on our first weeks orientation and it was good to catch up. Me and one of the boys that i did Sydney to Melbourne with have decided to travel up the East Coast together.
On Thursday we all took a group outing to Australia Zoo, where we hugged Koalas and hand fed Kangaroos. Took photos with (statues) the Irwins and generally just had an awesome time! We saw the infamous crocodile show too and watched a keeper play with tigers. It was a bloody hot day but was well worth the sweltering heat!
On Friday i left Brisbane and caught the Greyhound Bus up to Mooloolaba where i stayed for two nights on my own before heading further up to Noosa where i met back up with George.
Within the next twenty something days we will be going all the way up to Cairns. Stopping at many different places.
Tomorrow we will leave Noosa and go to Hervey Bay ready to start our Fraser Island Tour on Wednesday 1st April.
There are so many places we are going that i can't remember them in order but here is a list of them so that you can Google away and see what they look like: Fraser Island, Bunderberg, Rockhamptom, Airlie Beach, Magnetic Island, Mission Beach plus more which i have forgotten... But on top of that we are also sailing around the Whitsunday Islands for a couple of days on a catamaran. All very exciting!
Saying that, because we are in each place for such a short period of time i do not know when i will have wifi so i do not know when i will next be able to update my blog, considering i am already behind. But alas, this is the least of my worries because my main concern is trying to see as much as possible! See ya! x
